It is one thing to want to get our old high school gang of friends together for a dinner to catch up. It is another entirely when no one can get together on the same damn day. We suggested Dec 2, but no one can go then. So we switched to Nov 30, but some of us don't get money until Dec 1. So we switched to Dec 1. Now NO dates in Dec will work and it HAS to be on Nov 29 or 30. That's great, except there are three of us at least who can't do it on either of those days. Between working and/or not getting paid until Dec 1, there are three of us at least who will not be there. I guess it doesn't matter that we're not all going to be there.
The funny thing is - the three of us that won't be there, are the outcasts of the group anyway. Go figure.
I have got interest in bag collection, I know this is crazy but I think woman has got so many interest in collection. I love bag collection as I can go here and there with beautiful bag.
Do you know anyone that love bag collection? I know some friends love cosmetics collection!
By the way yesterday I went to Daiso and I bought a hair dye thought to dye my mom hair. But see that it is not suitable as will need 1 to 3 hour to dye.
You know, one of the things that drives me nuts is when people say that writing is only writing if it's going to be a book. So people who create newspaper articles aren't writing them, they're creating them? Bloggers are not writing, they are blogging? It doesn't matter if my subject is a novel for NaNoWriMo or if it is a blog post on a car blog that extols the virtues of the latest truck accessories it is still writing.
The act of putting words down, whether on a computer screen or on paper is writing. It doesn't matter to me what the writing is. Blog post, news article, novel, non-fiction book, biography, etc. It's all writing. Poems are writing. Words on a page/screen are WRITTEN. It is not that hard to figure out that concept but then you get these yahoos who say you aren't a writer unless you're writing a book. Whatever. I blog, I'm writing. I create an article, I'm writing. I write a book, I'm writing. End of story.
What do you consider writing??
I am so wishing for less commercials that are for products that not everyone is going to need. I am sick of commercials for male enhancement products, commercials for ED remedies, commercials for asthma medicines, COPD medicines, etc. I understand that the drug companies want people to have their doctors prescribe these medications to them, but good grief. Does my TV time, what little of it I actually use have to be filled with it? I mean, I see acne products, heartburn relief products, and everything in between every night when I watch TV. I can't get away from it. Even on Hulu and that, the ads might be for stuff like that. It's unbelievable!
With certain things, I am of the opinion that if you need it, you'll find it. If I need medication for a condition, I'll ask my doctor to help me find the right one for me. And I don't need my man to be enhanced. If I'm with him, then I love him regardless. Yeesh!
Lately I have been talking to some people around where I live about my "small businesses" doing web & graphic designs and making/selling jewelry & crocheted items. Several of them have asked if I have any sort of promotional products for my businesses. I ask them what kind of products they are thinking of, and they usually say things like pens with the business name, phone number, and possibly address listed on them, or business cards. I was thinking of getting some business cards to tuck into orders when I send them out or deliver them. It is a good idea, I just have to actually get off my duff and order them. ;)
So here we are, sitting around watching SyFy so we can see Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters Academy (LOVE those shows although the ghost hunters in training on GHA really irk me), and all of a sudden we're being barraged by commercials for everything from pills to burn belly fat to items of various types for helping out with that ever annoying ED. Here's a clue people. No need to advertise. You need it that badly, or want it that badly, you'll find it! Especially the ED stuff. You know, I get spammed enough via my Email and IM's for that stuff. What on earth makes people think I want to get it on my TV as well? I mean really? And some of the stuff they're advertising is on during prime time when kids are still up - that's not appropriate. Kids do not need Viagra commericals, Cialis commercials, or the "alternatives to Viagra and Cialis that are Medicare approved" commercials. They're kids. They do not need exposrue to this stuff. It pains me to think that kids are having to stop watching shows they like because the commercials are just inappropriate!
Oh how I wish I could just go to bed and not get up. I've been helping a friend look for stuff for her business. She's going to be opening a yarn/knitting/crochet shop and she wants to have a few things set up before she opens. One of them is an open sign, plus she'd like to have one of those exit signs above the door so that people aren't looking for a way out thinking they can't go out the same door they came in. (You'd be amazed.)
I told her I'd help her find what she wants or needs. I'd love to work for her as well (I both knit and crochet) but I can't because she's just getting started and won't be able to afford to hire any employees unless the shop actually takes off. I think it will because a lot of people are willing to buy the more expensive yarns for their projects. :)
Yeah this is the white sparkling nivea visage mask which I tried for the first time. It is an intensive whitening treatment mask that works both on the surface and within the skin to bring out your inner glow.
Shaped to fit the face, each wet mask is soaked with a concentration of the powerful combination of Vitamin B3, natural moisture booster and Pro Vitamin B5 to effectively lighten overall complexion and provides the skin with a moisture boost.
Vitamin B3 boosts skin's radiance, lightens dark spots, and reduces uneven skin tone.
Enriched with the natural moisture booster, Glycerin, the skin cell's own moisture depot is replenished and the ski is deeply hydrated instantly.
Pro Vitamin B5 soothes and strengthens the natural resistance of the skin.
The result skin is hydrated and smooth, your complexion is visibly fairer and radiant instantly!
You bet I am going to purchase this mask again!
Around here, most of our Christmas wishes are just that - wishes. We do not have very much money around here, and so we rarely, if ever, purchase Christmas presents. This year we have a few wishes, but are pretty skeptical that any of them will become reality in the first place. For instance, we have the digital cameras that BFL and I both want. We know this is not going to happen. If digital cameras show up for Christmas there will be only one of them, not two, and it is a guarantee that it will be BFL who gets one, not me, as it would be her mom who would be buying the present.
Another thing on our wishlist is a Wii. Not because we really want a Wii, but because our favorite Nintendo games such as Mario Kart, a Nascar Kart game, Legend of Zelda, etc are now being made for Wii only, and nothing for GameCube. *sigh*
Also on our list - a PS3. We doubt highly this one will show up at all, nor do we think there is a slight chance at a Wii. However, I do still hold out hope for a copy of Windows 7. :)
